Maps
MAPS (; BFF – Best Friends Forever;) is a meeting for emerging visual artists, a space where students from different schools get to know each other, share their work, express their concerns and weave networks of collaboration and knowledge exchange.
During the Opening Week of Getxophoto 2022, 38 students from Spanish schools had the opportunity to get closer, participate in the activities and meet the artists who came to Getxo to present their work.
One of the participating students' projects is chosen to be exhibited at the next edition of the Festival. The project that was exhibited during Getxophoto 2022 was Las flores mueren dos veces by Cristóbal Ascencio, student of the EFTI school in Madrid.
